Sportsrooms are proud to announce that they have been appointed as the Official Team Accommodation Partner for Forest Green Rovers, described by FIFA as “The world’s greenest football club”.
Sportsrooms will work with the club to source hotels that champion sustainability whilst helping its hotel partners become more sustainable in everything they do including using renewable energies, recycling and developing more plant-based food options.
Sustainability is central to everything they do at Forest Green Rovers. From solar panels and electric vehicle charging points at The New Lawn stadium to their vegan menu, Forest Green Rovers are proving that sports clubs can lead the fight against climate change. They are also the first and only vegan football club and the first to be certified as carbon neutral by the United Nations.
