Chris set up Sportsrooms in 2015 highlighting an opportunity in the market for a dedicated full service Sports Travel agent. Before launching Sportsrooms Chris worked for many years in Senior Management positions with Marriott Hotels and worked as Football Accommodation Manager for the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Within the organisation Chris manages key accounts, works to drive new and existing customer relationships and leads on Sportsrooms business strategy.

Outside of work Chris enjoys going to the gym and loves all watching all sports particularly live events and spending time with wife and two sports mad boys.

Matt Annis

Matt joined Sportsrooms in September 2016 having graduated from University College of Football Business (UCFB) after studying Football Business & Media. During his time at UCFB Matt achieved First Class honours for his dissertation into the Logistics, Travel and Preparation of Professional Sport. At Sportsrooms Matt is Head of Operations responsible for leading at team of Account Managers who look after every element of planning, preparations and delivering outstanding service to all our clients.

Matt is a massive Chelsea FC fan, playing football and golf and enjoys watching sport. When not playing or watching sport Matt likes to go to concerts and loves all genres of music, especially rock.

 

Tracy Rookyard

Tracy started working for Sportsrooms in July 2017. Within Sportsrooms, Tracy is Head of Finance and manages two direct reports along with all elements of finance for the company. In addition Tracy manages the office including our relationships with our hotel suppliers and heads up our partnership with local charity Freekicks Foundation.

Prior to joining Sportsrooms, Tracy has held a variety of roles within large organisations including Finance Management and PA positions, she also spent five years as a Event Manager for Greene King.

Tracy likes running and cycling and has completed multiple triathlons. She also enjoys watching most sports and reading crime thrillers.

 

Jen Holt

Jen has worked for Sportsrooms since December 2018 and manages cricket and rugby business along with our clients meeting and events requirements. Jen studied Sports Development with Coaching at Sheffield Hallam University.  After graduating, Jen worked as a gymnastic coach in the USA then once back in the UK as Club Development Officer at the County Sports Partnership, Projects Manager at National Cricket Charity ‘Chance to Shine’ and most recently at Leicestershire County Cricket Club as Operations and Sales Manager.

Jen enjoys watching all sports particularly live sports events, going to the gym and travelling to new places.

Ross has worked for Sportsrooms since August 2022 and is an Account Manager for our cricket and football teams. Ross has a degree in Sports Tourism and has previously worked in supporters travel for events including Formula 1, the Football World Cup and the Rugby World Cup. Ross has travelled to destinations including Japan, South Africa and Australia where he was lucky enough to see Alastair Cook’s double hundred at the MCG.

Ross is an avid sports fan and particularly enjoys watching his home country Somerset cricket club and Tottenham Hotspur. He is also a regular attendee at Glastonbury Festival, 12 times and counting!

Georgia re-joined Sportsrooms in January 2023 as an Account Manager after working for two years at Leicester City FC. Georgia has vast experience both in high level professional sports and hospitality having worked in hotels both in the United Kingdom and South Africa.

At Sportsrooms Georgia is Account Manager for multiple football teams along with the management of Laver Cup tennis. She also supports of many aspects of the team travel business.

Georgia has been a life long sports fan and is passionate about delivering first class service to all our clients.

Ruth Hedley

Account Manager

Ruth joined Sportsrooms in May 2023 following a successful role looking after accommodation for the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. Ruth is an Account Manager for football teams and also looks after clients in multiple other sports along with global events.

Ruth has a degree in Event Management from Leeds Metropolitan then worked as Senior Project Manager at Nirvana Europe in her native North East for several years, looking after events including multiple Great North Run’s, mass participation running and swimming events, as well as multisport triathlon and Ironman events.

Outside of work Ruth enjoys going to live music events and to the theatre, travelling and spending time with family and friends.

Seema joined the Sportsrooms team in November 2023, and brings with her over 20 years of experience within the finance sector. Following experience across a variety of industries has a proven track record in all areas in accounts payable & receivable, bank reconciled bank accounts, credit control. Seema is delighted to bring her experience to the sports sector now.

Outside of work Seema loves running and keeping active, spending time with her family and enjoys traveling particularly when she can combine this with her passion for food and wine.

 

Kier Lymn

Kier started with Sportsrooms in January 2024 and has had a varied career centred around travel. He was a Canada specialist agent but most recently managed a travel agency in Canada before returning to the UK and joining the company. The role at Sportsrooms combines Kiers skills learnt in commercial travel with his love of sports.

Outside of work Kier has been a roller coaster enthusiast since the age of 12 and has ridden over 500 different roller coasters worldwide. Most of Kiers leisure time revolves around this.
He is also an avid Leicester City fan but also follow FC St Pauli and South Shields FC. Aside from football Kier is also a big Toronto Blue Jay baseball fan and a New York Rangers hockey fan.

Joe joined Sportsrooms in early 2024 having completed a degree in Sports Psychology from Liverpool John Moores university. A Stamford School alumna, during his studies Joe worked within his families highly rated restaurant in Rutland and also spent two summers as a Group Leader at a Sports camp in Connecticut.

Joe is a huge Sports fan and enjoys all sports particularly football and rugby where he follows Tottenham Hotspur and Leicester Tigers. He has also recently started playing rugby again and even had a run out in Matt’s local football team. Joe also enjoy playing the piano and trumpet where he has achieved Grade 8 and 7 respectively.
