Sportsrooms were busy in the Winter transfer window, welcoming in two new recruits to our growing team. John Swales and Georgia Hannah have joined the team as Operations Assistants, helping deliver unrivalled service for our clients.
John joined Sportsrooms in November 2019 as Operations Assistant primarily looking after Football and Cricket teams hotel operations. After completing his degree in Sports and Exercise Science at Leeds Beckett University John worked a variety of roles in the hospitality industry before his passion for sports drew him to Sportsrooms.
Following a successful career in University football, John now plays in goal for local team Stamford Lions and also coaches goalkeeping in his spare time, helping bring through the next generation of custodians. John loves all sports and supports Liverpool FC (so has a smile on his face most Monday mornings at the minute).
Georgia joined Sportsrooms in January 2020. Prior to working for the company Georgia worked as Groups and Events Coordinator at Hilton Nottingham. In her role as Operations Assistant Georgia ensure that our hotel and travel partners have all the information they need to ensure our clients have a seamless trip.
Georgia studied Hotel Management in Cape Town, South Africa and has always been a huge sports fan. Georgia is a Leicester City fan and enjoys watching all sports. Outside of work Georgia also enjoys travelling.
